Easter Holidays our cellars and restaurant will be open the
21th, 22th, 23th and 24th of March'08 The Management

REFORMING CANALS & MUNNÉ OLD CELLARS
|
Canals & Munné old cellars (placed in Plaza Pau Casals, 6) will be
refurbished in approximately the next 3 years, in order to updating
this recreational and service facilities to the modern times, wich
we hope you will like them.

CAVA SHIPMENT THROUGH AN ISOTHERMAL VAN
|
In Canals & Munné, keeping faith with tradition and modernity, we
take care of our products in all the making proceedings, since the
vineyards to the factory, until the wine and cava is shipped to your
home. For that reason, we have completed this thermic chain, buying
a new Mercedes Sprinter 316 CDI van, with an isothermal isolation
which enables the cavas and wines with the same temparatures
recommended to be kept without being damaged for the extreme seasons
(summer or winter).
To preserve the cava, the liquor and marc of cava and the young
wines, keep the bottle in vertical position at 15ºC. for a maximum
time of 1,5 years. Keep the red wine in horitzontal position for
maximum of 5 years.

the intervieu of the Manager Director of Canals & Munné, Montse
Canals, in the section of "Mujeres de Pura Cepa", as a big
enterprising of the winery business of the 90'th and 2000. in
Penedes area.

ÒSCAR MEDINA CANALS, NEW OENOLOGIST OF CANALS & MUNNÉ

Quality, Tradition and Modernity, slogan of Canals & Munné .... And the dinasty is going on. The Canals & Munné family are
doing reality the slogan of Quality, Tradition and Modernity which
they have transformed in one of the most appreciated and recognised
winery in Penedes area.
Recently, at the begining of 2005, Oscar Medina Canals, great-
grandson of the founder of the winery and son of the currently
Manager Director, Montse Canals, has just been incorporated to the
family
business as oenologist, since he finished his Bachelor's degree and
spent some time practising his studies in friendly wineries.
Youth blood. New ideas. Surely, he has a fresh and different
business point of view. All together, with the experience of his
ancestors, will give to Canals & Munné, a new and important boost.

CANALS & MUNNÉ ONLINE SHOPPING
|
Keeping faith with tradition and modernity, Canals & Munné will sell
their products through the new online shopping, which it will start
at the end of the year, during the Christmas season 2005.
In this new webpage, the old sites such as History, Elaboration,
Products, Visit... will be still kept. The online shopping added in
the website allows to the new and old customers buying cava and
wines in a new different way as they usually do by telephone.
One of the atractions of this new website is the possibility of
making a book of visit the cellars or also booking in the our
typical restaurant, placed in town of Sant Sadurní.
Appart from that, the webpage will have at disposal of our customers
a database wich they can locate easily the addresses of the national
or international Canals Munné distributors.
It also there will be a news and news features section about Canals
& Munné updated periodically, in order to inform our customers and
media.
